Save the Dolphins8.52.04am GMT Tue 15th Feb 2005 Graham Oakes visited Durlston Country Park on Saturday 12 January. During his visit he was briefed on the history of the park, its operation and various funding streams by the Head Ranger for Dorset, Hamish Murray. Graham was also briefed on the important work carried out by the professional and volunteer staff on the Dolphin Watch project by Jo Wharam. He commented: "This is vital work with international significance. If we are to understand why so many dolphins die each year off our coast then research like this is invaluable. I was pleased to hear that our M.E.P. Graham Watson is also supporting the campaign to save our dolphins at the E.U. level."
